Every creation is a new journey

Every creation is a new journey. On the first day, you feel overwhelmed by the seemingly unlimited choices. The final piece appears in your mind vaguely. Starting from a cut of fabric, we gradually visualise your personal style.

Fabric Choice

Every bespoke commission starts from your personal style, how and in what occasions you want to wear your garment. We have thousands of fabrics that you can choose from and we will guide you to pick a suitable fabric.

Pattern

After picking your choices of fabrics, our tailoring process starts from the cutter’s observation and measurement of the client. Then, we develop an individual pattern for each customer, taking into account of individual’s physique and specific style requirements.

First Fitting

The cloth is hand cut and basted for the first fitting. Darts and pockets are uncut to leave room for amendments. Extra cloth is left at the inlays to allow alteration. Our cutters will mark the alterations needed to complement the client’s posture.

Marking Up

After the first fitting, the basted suit is taken apart, pressed and re-draw the pattern for necessary adjustments. The fabric will be trimmed and ready for sewing.

Second Fitting

In the second basted fitting, our cutters will examine the previous alterations and amendments from first fitting. Special features, like the fit of the collar, the roll of lapels, the break over shoe, the seat of trousers, the drape, neck points and cuffs, are further inspected to make sure the suit will eventually fit the client.

Finishing

This is the stage of final alterations. Our tailors will finish the sewing of collars and sleeves, as well as felling, edge stitching and hand-made buttonholes. After ironing, the suit is ready for final fitting. The whole bespoke process takes around four to six weeks.
